THE MOVIE

hai girls -

I realised we hadn't actually thought about what the film was about, and at which point in the film the music video would be focusing on. We have discussed vaguly that it is about Golnessa's 'rise to fame' but (unless I wasn't in the room while we were talking about it) we haven't really taken it any further.
It's not THAT essential but I want to put it in my essay. So here's what I've written:

Our music video would therefore consist entirely of shots taken from the Motion Picture ‘Mercado’, focusing heavily on the main character within the film, Golnessa. This gives our project an original twist on the brief. His song ‘Takin’ It Over’ is the audio hook of the film: a story about a young, talented and ambitious dancer (Golnessa) who rose to fame through her weekly appearances at Mercado, her local bar and cantina, and then went on to tour around the world. Our three-minute music video would focus on Golnessa’s success as she returns to her hometown, along with her newly formed international entourage of five female dancers, enjoying her popularity and fame. It would show her getting ready to go out with her friends, travelling to Mercado and partying within Mercado.

Is that okay? Does that fit with what the rest of you were thinkin?

OR if Ms B's reading, do you think that this needs to go in our essays? Ours differs slightly from the conventional structure because of it being from a film soundtrack doesn't it..?
